I'm falling a bit behind, all with this novel and the other novel me and my co-writer are doing, my time is filled up to the max.
But I have 7500 words and i'm trying to get 15k by the end of this week.

in my head, I really want to do a graphic novel someday.

Maggie, I was just listening this morning, enjoying it so much (... I am maybe your only LJ reader who is a fan of your music before becoming a fan of your books--that's a pleasure that's upcoming for me...), and I was wondering--are there several of you playing, or is it all you and you laid down several tracks? I hear flute, harp, drums, and is it violin?

Heee -- that is funny! It's actually me and my sister, Kate -- she plays the fiddle. I am on the harp, keyboard, bodhran (a skin drum), and two kinds of tin whistle.

Noticed your NaNo got a bit of a bump today, though. Awesome!

The pics are very cool. I'm envious of people who can do such a great job at capturing shading in their sketches. That always drove me crazy back when I actually did draw (what can I say, I'm far more of a graphic artist than any other).

Oh, and you gotta quit with all the groovy music posts and references in this here blog o' yours. It's getting expensive for me. haha I am sooo diggin' the guitar in "Right Where They Left." Can't wait to play this album for my wife. I suspect she will really like this stuff.

Yep, I'm working at catching up on the NaNo front. . . I head out of town again on the 20th with two events between now and then so . . . um, time to get writing.

I love the song!!! In the world of Rock Band, I am a master drummer. And in my car, I play a wicked air drum. Honest. There are many people who have seen me and they talk incessantly about my abilities. There is not enough space to type out actual testimonies, you just have to take my word. Anyway . . . this song makes me want to actually learn how to play the drums. No, that is not true. Rock Band stirs that desire. This song intensifies it.
