The Giant Maggie Appearances List - Updates  
All right, this is going to be a monster of a post, and if you are totally disinterested in coming to see me at a bookstore or library or random popsicle stand, I apologize. Because what this is is an updated list of every place that I'm scheduled to be in 2011 at the moment, ESPECIALLY for my Giant Road Trip Tour for FOREVER in July and my This is Teen with Meg Cabot and Libba Bray (those four events are in blue) (only because I read somewhere that blue is calming).

Just yesterday I was telling someone I felt like my summer and fall was going to be insane, and that I felt like I'd never be home. Then I did the math (I was a history major, so my version of math involves me opening a calendar and laboriously counting each day by hand) and discovered that, indeed, I only had 90 days left in 2011 that I would be home. Thank goodness I'm taking my kids on some of my trips, and Lover on others, and my car on still others. The only things I'll miss are the dogs and the cookie dough.

Our advertising does include the info that something must be purchased in order to get into the signing line; you might want to post for those who don't know that you can pre-order FOREVER just as easily through the hosting bookstores as you can from Amazon! Just because there's a purchase requirement doesn't mean it has to be made that night - we'll be keeping track of in-store purchases of your books leading up to the event and I'm guessing the other indies do something similar.

Australia visit
I really wish you were stopping over in Adelaide, I'm just not sure I would be able to get to any of the other places you are visiting. Maybe who ever is booking your Australian domestic flights can arrange for a rest break in Adelaide. It's along flight from Sydney or Brisbane, even Melbourne to Perth ;)(think NY to LA kinda flight). So stop in Adelaide for an hour or two and we can arrange an event at the airport!

I am so super glad that you're coming to Dewitt. It's only two hours from where I live! <3 My poor dad has volunteered to drive me so I can see you, I'll have to buy him a book while we're there.

I was so excited when I saw Dewitt! Only two hours from where I live too! But then I realized that this is the night that Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 comes out... So unfortunately I will not be able to come, since the last Harry Potter is once in a life-time. Such a shame since there are rarely authors that come near where I live.

Australian Tour Dates
Is there any update on whether you are coming to Perth Western Australia in August/September.
I am really looking forward to it as not many authors come to Perth but you will love it here.

Is the guitar pictured the one that will be raffled off at the London signing? 'Cause it would totally be worth the extra drive for a chance to win that. I love all the guitars, but I really love the birds, tree, and music staff on that one.
