Normally, on my other blog, the one that chronicles my life as a full time artist, I do Maggie's Media Munchies every Monday - media reviews of one book and one CD every week. But this week I thought of a different idea.  I want my readers to do my Media Munchies this week. Anyway, so it would be cool to get some recommendations from my LJ friends too.

In the comments, I want (nay, humbly beg) you to post the name of the one book in your collection you'd recommend, and the name of the one CD that always makes you drool. It can be fiction, non-fiction, death metal, classical, even Pearl Jam (though it's hard to believe anyone would recommend them unless under duress). But only one. 1. Uno. (that's for Dora the Explorer* if she's reading).

So I ask for the comments for two reasons. One, because I love finding out more about my readers, and what tells you more about someone than what they read and what they listen to? And two, because all creative industries are fueled by recommendations and word of mouth, and since I'm up to my neck in creative industry, I want to be a major part of that. It gives me that warm glow of accomplishment. Or maybe that's the blondie bar I just ate. I can't really tell the difference sometimes between the feeling I get after doing good works and the feeling of eating a lot of sugar and chocolate working in admirable harmony.
